This past weekend, Trêve celebrated its official launch surrounded by friends, family and the local community on Bainbridge Island, Washington, where the brand was founded and continues to formulate and manufacture its products in small batches.
Following Trêve’s September 1st debut, the evening celebrated the journey behind the brand and introduced guests to The Trêve Method, a streamlined three-step skincare routine designed to support skin through the hormonal changes of midlife.
Guests experienced the products firsthand while learning about Trêve’s approach to thoughtful formulation, ingredient transparency and The Skin Shift, the hormonally driven changes that influence how skin functions and maintains resilience in midlife. They also learned about Trêve’s commitment to sustainability, a consideration built into the brand from the beginning, from ingredient sourcing and small-batch manufacturing to packaging choices designed to reduce environmental impact.
At the heart of Trêve is a belief that the conversation around midlife skin should move away from fighting age and toward better understanding our biology and thoughtfully supporting skin as it evolves. The name Trêve, meaning “truce” in French, reflects this philosophy and the brand’s broader approach to well-aging.
That mission extends beyond formulation. Trêve is committed to advocating for safer beauty and greater ingredient transparency, engaging in efforts at both the Washington State and federal levels to help advance stronger standards across the beauty industry.
The evening was an opportunity to celebrate how far Trêve has come while looking ahead to a larger mission centered on transparency, education, advocacy, sustainability and a more supportive approach to skincare in midlife.
